Manager, Digital Acquisition & ECommerce


The Digital Acquisition & E-commerce Manager is a performance-led position responsible for the acquisition and conversion of new and existing customers across the digital landscape, primarily focused on developing and growing sales and user-base in the US. Supporting the Director, Digital Marketing & Ecommerce, this role will focus on leading planning, budgeting and day-to-day operations of all digital performance media driving to and/or retailer sites, as well as brand and retailer site content, promotional calendars, brand site feature/functionality projects, performance reporting and site  optimization, while also contributing to the strategic vision and development of the ELEMIS digital business, across multi-channels and devices. Working highly collaboratively within the integrated digital team, this role will be focused on business growth and performance, contributing to support of the broader consumer journey in an agile, fast-paced environment alongside team members leading digital awareness/engagement and retention/loyalty.


  • Lead day-to-day oversight and responsibility of operations at US, key businesses (QVC, Nordstrom, Amazon and to ensure key sales and performance metrics are met against business goals in partnership with E-commerce Director
  • Own digital advertising across budgeting, planning, optimization and reporting for performance media; paid search, display, affiliate, social and organic search (SEO) by leading third-party media agencies
  • In partnership with Director, E-commerce, contribute to integrated digital calendar to own and lead on all strategic promotional planning, site refreshes, site enhancements and key digital campaigns
  • Oversee performance and development of one direct report, e-commerce associate, to lead merchandising, inventory and oversight or execution of design/copy briefs, build, testing and reporting across and key businesses
  • Research, propose and plan to delivery innovative, new or tried and true programming for new customer acquisition that increase new visitors, grow e-mail options and new customers, leveraging clear attribution modelling to identify source and CPAs, cascading reports and metrics to show growth and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Lead implementation and project management of new site features and functionality in partnership with internal digital teams and/or third-party partners to enhance and accelerate user experience with a consumer-centric vision  and goals to meet set KPIs
  • Produce and cascade weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting on site performance against key business KPIs, making key strategic insights and recommendations
  • Monitor customer fulfillment and service offering of is premium to support repeat purchase and drive loyalty, proposing opportunities to improve against brand quality
  • Closely collaborate with CRM manager to plan email marketing needs to drive traffic and sales, leveraging appropriate segmentation and supporting broader business goals
  • Collaborate with Digital Engagement team to ensure content landing pages across devices, site experience and the overall consumer journey is optimized for success in relation to driving sign up, engagement and sales.
  • Stay on-top of e-commerce trends and proactively propose ways to improve the business through insights gained

JOB SPECIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS (Min. knowledge, skills, and abilities required):

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of demonstrated and recent experience in E-commerce, preferably within fashion/beauty
  • Proven record of implementing and/or management of successful E-commerce sites
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing media, budgets and reporting across search, display, affiliate marketing and social
  • Passion for innovation and potential of future opportunities in e-commerce growth and customer acquisition
  • Experienced with a range of E-commerce software, platforms and tools – experience with Magento and Wordpress preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience in using reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture and/or Adobe
  • Proficiency in Word, Powerpoint and detailed in use of Excel to build dashboards
